ALAN MAYER AWARD NOMINATIONS

Since 1995 the Alan Mayer Award has been presented each year by Brain Injury Services and NVBIA to an individual who has displayed a commitment to advocacy for survivors of traumatic brain injury and their families. Candidates for this award are selected from among nominees who have:

• Demonstrated a continuing willingness to strive toward increased recognition of the needs and increased support for survivors:

• Developed or significantly contributed to an innovative way of meeting the needs of survivors as leaders in their chosen field or profession; and

• Led, or provided a significant contribution to an organization involved in advocacy.
